Pastor Joel Hahn, Senior Pastor, and wife Annette

Pastor Joel Hahn began serving God among our congregation in July, 2011.  He is a veteran of 35+ years of pastoral service, bringing a deep passion for Jesus Christ and for all the people of this world Jesus loves.

Pastor Joel is married to Annette (married in 1972).  They have 3 grown children, two of whom are married, and 3 grandchildren.  Annette carries a quiet, godly strength and an amazing generosity.

Pastor likes to hike 14,000 foot mountains, play tennis, bowl, and do photography.  He hates vegetables.

"I love to help people find the presence and love of God.  My joy is to be welcomed into the heart of another person for the purpose of developing their relationship to Jesus.  Nothing delights my soul more than seeing people immersed in receiving and giving love."

Jessica Schwartz grew up in Fairbury, NE. She recently moved back from Springfield, MO where she studied at Evangel University. She is finishing some online classes and will have a degree in Social Work. Jessica acted as the Youth Director at Fairbury First Baptist from 2003-2006. She is very excited to be serving with FBC again. If she
had spare time she would enjoy traveling, cooking and going to concerts. She also never misses a chance to cheer on the Nebraska Cornhuskers with her family. She currently resides in Beatrice, NE and works full-time for AmeriCorps at the FYI Center.
