A core value at First Baptist is reaching out beyond our four walls. We’ve discovered that our church exists not for our convenience or needs alone, but rather for the support and needs of those who have not yet become a part of God’s kingdom. First Baptist exists to reach out to all of our friends, families, neighbors and more. Every component of our ministry is designed to invite people in and take us out into our community with that invitation.

This puts us in some unexpected places at times. We hand out free bottled water at the community flea market, put up advertising at the race track, sponsor events geared to welcome new people to our town and offer gifts to those whose lives are in transition.

We are always prayerfully considering opportunities to reach out beyond our building, lives and tradition to bring the Gospel to our community.
